Symptom
A loud clicking sound comes from the X73/X83 multi-function printer when attempting to scan.
Cause
The scanner bed may be LOCKED for shipping. The bed must be unlocked during initial setup before using the scanner. This only has to be done once.
Resolution
There is a red LOCK/UNLOCK lever on the back of the device. Move the lever to the UNLOCK position.
